Forgiveness

Big Idea: The church lives on the oxygen of mercy — breathed in deeply, released freely.

Forgiveness is central to following Jesus, but it isn’t simple. Building on our journey from the Fall’s disconnection to Jesus’ reconnection, this message reframes forgiveness through Matthew 18. Rather than a transactional warning, “forgive or else”, Jesus is calling His people to the church's vocation as God's agency of mercy in the world. We are called to embody the mercy we’ve received and become a community that heals disconnection.

An individual's struggle with forgiveness is not something God condemns them for; instead, it is an invitation to breathe in more of His love.
